Ovation VXT Hybrid– One Guitar That Does It All!
The Ovation VXT combines the range of dual humbuckers with onboard
Fishman piezo acoustic tone – all at your fingertips on a single
instrument. The chambered, contoured solid body is extremely
comfortable to play and features classic single cutaway good looks with
a high-gloss finish.
Humbucker tone is delivered by a pair of Seymour Duncan SH-1 ’59
pickups. Acoustic tones are provided by a Fishman Power Bridge Piezo.
The VXT is also wired for either mono or stereo operation. The piezo
output can be routed to one amp while the magnetic output can be run
to another. An Ovation stereo Y cable is included that divides the
output to two quarter-inch mono connectors.
Besides a 3-way switch for selecting the Humbucker pickups, the VXT
has 3 control knobs: Master Volume, Tone for the Humbuckers, and a
piezo/magnetic blend that allows you to dial in full humbucker, full
piezo, or any combination to achieve your desired tones.
This guitar was made in USA and was purchased new in 2007. It is fully
operational and in excellent cosmetic condition. There is some very light play wear on the back of the instrument. The original Ovation hard shell case is included.
