Setup for optimal playability with Daddario EXL110 10-46 strings (9/23/25)
There are some headstock cracks and neck pocket finish cracks. Please read notes below from my luthier regarding these areas:
- The cracks at the neck pocket are superficial, only in the finish and not
structural. I wicked some thin CA glue into the cracks and sanded and
polished them smooth to minimize the appearance and feel.
• Multiple cracks in back of headstock - not through, but into
wood, originating in locator holes and traveling along grain lines.
Inject glue into cracks, clamp with surgical tubing for 2 days to close
and stabilize cracks. Touch up finish on back of headstock
